MANAGING DIRECTOR - CANADA OFFICE |
|

We are currently looking to fill the position of Managing Director for our proposed new Canada location near Toronto. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Job responsibilities: |
|
| |
- Management of regional office, including responsibility for hiring and retaining all personnel necessary to meet the growth of the office
- Identify and gain potential business from within the Toronto region
- Preparation and reporting of budgets, cash flows and financial statements to the parent Company on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Defining, developing and maintaining an effective control environment following guidelines from the parent company adapted to the Canada location to attain SAS 70 Type I standard within one year, and SAS 70 Type II standard within two years of opening of location
- Developing outstanding business relationships with clients

In order to be considered for the position, candidates should substantially meet all of the following requirements: |
|
| |
- Hold a business relevant degree
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience within the alternative investment industry which shows a clear progression path throughout the period
- Have demonstrable experience of managing personnel of all levels
- Be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge of all elements of the alternative investment space
- ave detailed knowledge of domestic and offshore jurisdictions frequently encountered in the alternative space, as well as the various types of structures used e.g. master/feeder, parallel funds
- Have detailed knowledge and familiarity of at least one investment software package; knowledge of MFACT would be a distinct advantage
- Be able to demonstrate leadership qualities and the confidence to grow an office from scratch in an ethical and professional manner
- Looking for an opportunity to utilize the skills and experiences gained to date, and be strongly committed to furthering a career within the fund administration space

We are currently looking to fill the position of Managing Director for our proposed new European location. |
|

Job responsibilities: |
|
| |
- Successfully identifying and securing office space from the outset, ensuring sufficient space to support growth requirements for at least two years from start of venture
- Liaising with government officials to ensure smooth licensing process to enable the company to open for business in a timely and efficient manner
- Management of regional office, including responsibility for hiring and retaining all personnel necessary to meet the growth of the office
- Spearhead the sales and marketing function for the European region
- Preparation and reporting of budgets, cash flows and financial statements to the parent Company on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Defining, developing and maintaining an effective control environment following guidelines from the parent company adapted to the European location to attain SAS 70 Type I standard within one year, and SAS 70 Type II standard within two years of opening of location
